This article gives you an overview of the Conversation Flows feature. To get help in creating a new flow, click here: How to Create your Own Conversation Flow

With the Slaask Conversation Flows feature, you can now control the way you handle conversations with your customers: filter your customer questions, direct them automatically to an existing FAQ article, send them a chat transcript, etc. - the possibilities are endless!

Note: During the beta, the flows feature is not enabled by default. You can go in your flow settings anytime to enable or disable the feature.

What is a Conversation Flow?

A conversation flow is a series of responses programmed to create a natural exchange of ideas between you and your customers. Depending on your needs, you can use Conversation Flows to automate the way your bot handles conversations with your contacts - just the way you like it.

How does it work?

Just go to the left-hand menu, click on Conversation Flows and from there you will see your flow settings.

Home Menu

The home menu gives you a step-by-step process to help you get started with Conversation Flows. The steps include 1. Build new flows, 2. Review and translate your texts, and 3. Select flow triggers.

  1. Build your flows

The first step allows you to create your own flow or import a predefined one.

  2. Review and translate your texts

The second step lets you review and correct any possible translation mistakes in your texts.

  3. Select your flow triggers

The third step allows you to define when your flow will be triggered. Once the selected event happens (i.e. when a conversation starts), the actions specified in your flow will be executed.

Settings Menu

The settings menu lets you toggle the feature on and off (only during beta-mode) as well as enable the option to display informative messages.

Your Flow List

This column lists up all your existing conversation flows. You can create as many as you want and build a simple or an extensive flow tree depending on your needs.

Texts and Translations

Here you can review your texts and correct any possible translation errors. The text fields are editable so you can make changes as needed. Here's an example of English texts and translations in French:

So, what do you think? A one-time set-up is all you need, so you can sit back, relax and let the bot do all the work!
