Inside Slack channels, opened by a visitor or contact via the Slaask chatbox on your website, you can actually have private conversations with your teammates.
All you have to do is add @your-teammate-username
at the very beginning of your message inside the channel. This will hide your message from your contact and it will only be shown to team members inside the channel. Here is an example:
The above message will not appear in the conversation on the contact's end. Only team members in the channel can see it.
Please note that is you use Slack threads in visitor channels, you will still need to add @your-teammate-username
at the beginning of your thread inside the visitor channel, in order to hide your messages from your contact. If not, the thread will become public to them.
All the keys so that you can interact serenely with your customers and prospects.
